NutriPedia helps people in India understand what is on their plate. We start with weight management, the area where people meet the most confusing claims, and keep everything plain, sourced and free.

What you can do here

  • How much should I eat? Find your ideal weight range, add up a day’s food with the Calorie Counter, and see a daily calorie requirement that suits you.
  • Explore Food: compare varieties of everyday Indian dishes by calories per serving and a weight-management rating.
  • Product Ratings: see how meal replacements, protein powders and fibre supplements sold in India compare, with the label facts behind every rating.
  • News and Views: researched news in our own words, with every source linked, and answers to everyday food questions.
  • Ask a Nutrition Expert: send a food question to our experts and get a reply by email.

How we work

Every number shows its source and date, and every rating shows how it was worked out (see our methodology). We never promise weight loss. Our ratings are independent: sponsors and advertisers cannot change them (see our disclosures and editorial policy).
