How each rating was worked out
Overall = formula and evidence 50% + ingredient quality 20% + taste 15% + affordability 15%.
Taste 3.7
74% of 9,570 Amazon ratings were 4 or 5 stars (Amazon shows no taste-only rating for this product). Customer ratings are about the whole product, and some may not be genuine.
Affordability 2.5
₹26.58 per gram of apple cider vinegar, the ingredient it is sold for. Compared with the cheapest of the effervescent tablets we rate that are priced the same way: the cheapest scores 5, and twice its price scores 2.5. Amazon price ₹299 for 64.5 g on 8 Nov 2026.
Ingredient quality 2.5
- Safe daily dose — All actives within known safe limits at two tablets a day (chromium 400 mcg, B6 1.9 mg); no stimulants (a limit, not averaged in)Good
- Formula focused on the aim — ACV, chromium and pomegranate are presented for appetite and metabolism; vitamins B6 and B12 are added for energy, with no weight-management purpose for the adult target groupPartly
- Transparency — Every active has an amount and ACV is standardised (6% acetic acid), but the pomegranate extract has no standardisation, 'equivalent to one shot of liquid ACV' contradicts the label dose, the ingredients list watermelon flavour on an Apple Flavour pack, and Safety Information says 'For External use'Partly
- Additives of concern — No preservatives, but contains the artificial colour Allura Red (INS 129)Partly
- Sodium per day — 105 mg sodium a tablet, 210 mg a day at two tabletsPartly
- Sugar and sweeteners — 0 g added sugar, but sweetened with sucralose (INS 955)Partly
Graded with our weight management effervescent tablets matrix (how we judge ingredients).
Formula and evidence 0.0
- Active ingredients at a studied dose — Two tablets give about 90 mg acetic acid (1.5 g ACV at 6%), around a tenth of the 750-1,500 mg acetic acid in the 15-30 ml of vinegar used in trials. Chromium picolinate 400 mcg a day reaches a studied dose, but the main active does notPoor
Formula 0.0 of 5 × evidence for its main active, apple cider vinegar 0.5 of 2.5 ÷ 2.5: the science counts only as far as this product is like the ones studied. Modest reductions in short trials only (meta-analysis of 10 trials, Nutrients, 2025). Two tablets a day give 1.5 g apple cider vinegar powder at 6% acetic acid, about 90 mg acetic acid. Vinegar trials used 15-30 ml a day, about 750-1,500 mg acetic acid, so the dose is roughly a tenth of the studied amount, and the 'one shot of liquid ACV' claim is not backed by the label. Chromium picolinate 400 mcg a day is a studied dose. This does not promise any result.
